It was once a peaceful dragon that lived by the shore and enjoyed the warm coastal breezes that caressed its scales. But everything changed one evening when a strange gloomy wind blew and an evil force rose from the sea. A strange missionary began to spread ideas of insanity on shore, corrupting many coastal creatures and even the massive dragon. After losing control of itself, the dragon destroyed everything on the coast. The body of this dragon is now a grotesque mass of scale-less skin and exposed bones, seemingly held together by the stake protruding from its chest. In the short periods when it regains its sanity, the creature is filled with regret and despair. However the creature is, after all, a dragon - the most magnificent of creatures in all of Narcia. As long as a sliver of sanity remains within it, the dragon will not sink forever into the nightmare.

People don't have tend to have a good first impression of the Dark Mudflat's murky shore and the putrid, clammy wind from the sea. Their second impression isn't any better. Upon closer inspection, beneath the black mud lies trash as well as the severed limbs and skulls of humans and animals. The stench in the air is not that of sea water, but of the corpses trapped in the mud. Once a clean, pure coast, it has been ravaged by the activities of the merfolk.	2	x 4
The merfolk consist of creatures that emerged from an ancient beast that sleeps in the abyss, and the original sea creatures whose physical forms and abilities have been altered by beast's aura. Although all merfolk draw life and power from this beast, their attitudes towards it vary greatly. Some merfolk fear the day the beast awakens, believing that would herald a disaster. But others will stop at nothing to awaken what they regard as their great creator.	4	x 5
Recently, the faction of merfolk that regards the ancient beast as their great creator has applied increasingly bizarre and evil methods in their attempt to awaken it. These fanatical merfolk have been capturing all manner of creatures from the coast for a ritual to revive the beast. Even a huge dragon has fallen into the hands of these crazed merfolk...	6	x 3
